Delete your account

In the app

1. Open The Web Network and sign in.
2. Go to the You tab.
3. Choose Settings.
4. Scroll to Delete account and choose it.
5. Enter your current password, type DELETE, and confirm.

The deletion happens right then. It is not a deactivation, and nothing is held back in case you change your mind. You are signed out when it finishes.

By email

If you cannot sign in, write from the email address on the account to info@thewebnetwork.co and ask for the account to be deleted. We check that the request comes from the owner of the address before anything is removed.

We delete the account within seven days of confirming the request, and we write back when it is done.

What is removed

Your email, password, name, city, bio, journal, feed posts, intake answers, the reading built from them, and your saved learning state are removed. Your photos lose access at once and are queued for cleanup. Messages you sent are emptied, including inside conversations other people are still in. Your connections are closed.

What stays

A small record with no name, email or profile stays so that numbers are never reused. Moderation reports stay as evidence without a link to your account. Order records keep the minimum needed for support and accounting. Anything you already exported, or that somebody else already copied, cannot be recalled.
